Parent Instructions

Instructions: Once you have decided to join the team, use our step by step guide below and complete each item. 

Parent Requirements: (For parents only)

Step 1: Complete our Booster Registration Form

Step 2: Sign up to "Feed the team" dates. Every parent must sign up for two meals during the build season. 

Step 3: Sign up to "Volunteer" dates. Every parent must sign up to chaperone or run two events. 

Step 4: Pay yearly member fee. Bring $150 check to Mr. Lobo. 

Step 5: Complete First Robotics Forms. Review the "Youth Registration Guide" on the FIRST Inspires website for instructions. 

Step 6: NEW Use this form to sign up for the PARENT VOLUNTEER TEAMS. 

We need parents to run the teams below:

• Food Team: Organizes and decided how we will feed the team during build season. 

• Corporate Sponsorship and Grants Team: Organizes how we collect sponsorships and grants. 

• Fundraising Events Team: Organizes student fundraising and community events: 

• New Treasurer: Shadow our treasurer to make it easier to transition year to year.  

Student Requirements: (For students only)

Step 1: 

A) If you are an OA student, swing by and introduce yourself to Mr. Lobo in room 114. He can answer any questions you may have. Complete the forms below when you are ready to join. 

B) If you are not an OA student, have your parent email our president at president@eastonrobotics.org to see if you can join the team. Complete the forms below when you are ready to join. 

Step 2: We use "Remind" for all text broadcasts. You need to text @irontigers to 81010 or go to https://www.remind.com/join/irontigers and join our remind. 

Step 3:  We use Google Classroom for all student only communications and organization. OA students should join our Google Classroom HERE. If you are not an OA student, talk with Mr. Lobo about meeting dates and times. 

Step 4:  Review our "For Parents Page" with your Parent. By joining you agree to all terms. 

Step 5: Make sure your parent completes our "Booster Registration Form" above. 

Step 6: Ask your parents to write a $150 check and bring it to Mr. Lobo. 

Step 7: Ask your parents to review the "Youth Registration Guide" so they know how to register you on the FIRST Inspires website. 

Step 8: Have your parents complete the "FIRST Robotics Registration Form". 

Step 9: The team uses Facebook for all parental and community media and announcements. Have your parents follow our Facebook Page. 

Step 10: (Optional) Follow our Socials: Instagram, Youtube, Facebook

FINAL STEP

Final Step: Once you have completed all of the above items, complete the form below. 

ALL fees and documents must be completed in full, before officially becoming a member and prior to the first FIRST Competition. 

Complete the registration form below after you have completed each item above.
