Member Event Volunteer Sign-Up: Use this Signup Genius page to sign up for events.
Volunteering Rules:
All members need to collect 20 volunteer hours. Only sign up for events that you know you are available for the whole time slot. If you cannot attend the event, you need to FIND AN ALTERNATE MEMBER TO TAKE YOUR PLACE. If you cannot find an alternate and you do not attend, those allotted hours will be subtracted from your volunteer hours.
20 hours of volunteering must be completed to be eligible for Iron Tigers Scholarship, by the end of March. 10 of those hours must be completed by our first competition. In the event you have not completed at least ten hours, you will be removed from the "FIRST Roster", and will not be able to attend the FIRST Competitions.

From what we understand they will not have food to just buy there. They are using the university dining hall and we would have had to preorder and pre pay in February for meal vouchers to eat there.
Additionally, it is a 10 minute walk from the event (team members will not want to take that much time)
We will be doing potluck sandwiches FOR EVERYONE TEAM MEMBERS AND FAMILIES a sign up genius is here. Please sign up to bring something. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050A4BA8A729A3F58-55602969-lunch

Bring your orange and black and be ready to cheer. We will scope out a place on Friday night where we will put our banner. As spectators, we will all sit together there
There is NO food allowed in the pits, but we can have food and drinks (within reason) in the stands. Usually, folks bring snacks and drinks to share and the kids will come by the stands to grab snacks. Feel free to bring whatever you want to share - They did say no BIG coolers.....
There is a quiet room available for anyone during the day at the venue, there will be signs
Load-in, ONLY for those on load in team, will be Thursday night 5-10 PM - Mr. Lobo will notify team members who will be part of load in
Friday and Saturday will be a group effort for lunch!
For those that ordered the iron on logos.. As soon as they come in, I will email you. I will also plan on bringing my heat press to RI and can do them for you there. It takes about 45 seconds!

IRONTIGERS 4176 - Competition Expectations
When attending these competitions events you are representing the team and the Easton community at all times.
Staying positive!
Our expectation is that every member stays positive throughout the event, no matter how we are doing. If our cheer squad in the stands is cheering us every time we are up, there is a high likely hood of us winning an award. Judges are always listening!
Being respectful!
Throughout the event be nice and respectful to all members of the team, parents, attendees and other teams. FIRST is about helping one another and "coopertition".
Staying with the team!
We understand that sometimes you need to stretch your legs when you are sitting on the bleachers. You can walk around and see the different teams but make sure you don't leave the event with talking with Danna (President of the Boosters) first. Also do not walk around the school outside of the auditorium space other than to go eat and the bathrooms.
Safety!
Make sure you wear safety glasses every time you enter the pits. We are always being watched so always think "Safety First".
Spirit Wear!
Every day everyone needs to wear their iron tigers shirts and spirit gear! We want to win the SPIRIT AWARD!
Report any problems or ask any questions to Danna while in the stands. Always be Respectful!
If anyone, seriously violates these rules, or acts in an unprofessional, inconsiderate, or unsafe manner, we will ask you and your parents to leave the competition.
